Ensure the supply and stable prices of fertilizers for spring ploughing this year and throughout the year.

Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission issued a notice, clearly stating the need to ensure the supply and stable prices of fertilizers for the spring ploughing season in 2026 and throughout the year. 
The notice put forward six key tasks, including ensuring the supply of raw materials for fertilizer production and stabilizing fertilizer production; promoting smooth circulation of fertilizers and reducing the cost of agricultural fertilizers; strengthening the management of fertilizer reserves and effectively playing the role of reserves; strengthening the service and management of fertilizer import and export and effectively ensuring imports; strengthening the supervision of the fertilizer market and maintaining a good market order; and promoting scientific fertilization and improving the efficiency of fertilizer use. 
The National Development and Reform Commission stated that the development and reform commissions of all provincial-level regions should take the lead in ensuring the supply and stabilizing the prices of fertilizers in their respective regions, and work with relevant units to coordinate and solve problems existing in the production, transportation, storage, sales and application of fertilizers.
