Application Scope of Water-Soluble Fertilizers

As a fast-acting fertilizer, water-soluble fertilizers provide comprehensive nutrients. Formulations are tailored to the specific nutrient requirements of different crops, with specialized products available on the market for vegetables, fruit trees, flowers, grains, cotton, oilseeds, and other crops. Due to their higher price point, water-soluble fertilizers have not achieved widespread adoption. Primary consumption areas are concentrated in greenhouse vegetable production bases, fruit tree production bases, and certain flower cultivation zones. Key consumption regions in China include Liaoning, Hebei, Shandong, Xinjiang, Sichuan, Guangxi, Yunnan, and Hainan. Vegetables have short growth cycles and high economic returns, with consumers demanding superior quality. Consequently, vegetable farmers place high demands on fertilizers, making water-soluble fertilizers their preferred choice. The premium prices achieved for high-quality vegetables yield substantial profits, making vegetables the primary consumer base for water-soluble fertilizers. For field crops, however, the higher costs deter farmers from adopting these fertilizers, leading them to stick with traditional fertilizers.
