How to prepare fertilizer for flowers
I. The simplest and most versatile recipes (3 are enough)
General-purpose fertilizer for daily use (promotes leaf and branch growth)
A pinch of urea + a half pinch of potassium dihydrogen phosphate
Dilute with 500ml to 1000ml of water (a bottle of mineral water)
Water once every 7 to 10 days.
Suitable for: Devil's Ivy, Spider Plant, Money Tree, Rose, Camellia, Loquat, etc.
2. Flowering Promoting Fertilizer (For More Flowers and Longer Flowering Period)
Only use potassium dihydrogen phosphate.
1 gram : 1000 ml water
Spray the leaves and water the soil.
Once every seven days, stop when the flower buds come out.
3. Root and tree strengthening fertilizer (what your loquat needs most)
Composted organic fertilizer (sheep manure / vermicompost)
Bury it in the soil at the edge of the pot, away from the roots.
Once every one to two months.
The soil becomes looser and looser without burning the roots.
II. Homemade Fertilizer at Home (Safe and Odorless Version)
Rice-washing water
Let it ferment in a bottle for 7 to 15 days, then dilute it with water at a ratio of 1:10 and use it for watering.
Long green and bright leaves
2. Soak banana peels in water
Soak for 3 days and use it to water flowers.
Potassium supplementation and flower promotion
3. Boil water with eggshells / Crush eggshells
Dry in the sun, crush and bury in the soil.
Calcium supplementation and prevention of lodging
III. Things That Must Never Be Done
Do not pour milk, tea water or water used for washing rice. Pour directly without fermentation.
Do not bury raw manure, raw fertilizer or kitchen waste.
When applying fertilizer, it is better to use less rather than more. If the concentration is too high, it will surely burn the roots, cause leaves to fall off and rot the roots.
