Is the blue snowflake plant getting thinner as it grows?

The most relaxing flower in summer is the blue snowflake. It has a visual cooling effect. With its fresh blue color, it is heat-resistant and easy to grow. However, many flower enthusiasts' cultivated blue snowflakes are quite different:
The branches are thin and weak, the leaves are yellow and sparse. Only a few small flowers bloom, but they have a pale color and lack texture. The flowering period lasts for just a few days before all of them wither away. It looks very listless. No matter how you take care of it, there is no improvement.

Many people's first instinct is to rush to expose the plants to more sunlight and water them more frequently. However, this approach merely addresses the symptoms rather than addressing the root cause.
Blue snowflake is a typical high-flower-production plant. It continuously blooms throughout the summer and requires a continuous supply of nutrients throughout the entire period.
If you only water the plants with tap water every day, it's like making the plants survive on an empty stomach all the time. If the nutritional gap cannot be filled over a long period of time, their growth will naturally become worse and worse. The flowers will be small and few in number, and the flowering period will be significantly shortened.

If we put ourselves in their shoes, we can understand. If people only drink plain water every day without eating, their bodies will become weak and exhausted, and they will have no energy to do anything. Blue Snowflake lacks nutrients for a long time and barely manages to survive. It's fortunate that it doesn't have any extra energy to form flower buds or bloom into beautiful flowers.
Many flower growers also apply fertilizer carelessly, resulting in an imbalance of nutrients and disrupting the growth rhythm. The plants end up in a worse condition as they continue to be cared for.

If you want the blue snow flowers to bloom like a blue waterfall, with deep and rich blue colors and successive blooming of flowers, the key lies in precisely providing the right nutrients and ensuring they are sufficient.
The nutrients needed for plants to flower are mainly phosphorus. Therefore, fertilizers containing high levels of phosphorus should be used.
After fertilization, the root system quickly absorbs balanced nutrients. The branches grow stronger and denser, with numerous and full branches. The flower buds are piled up layer upon layer on the branches, creating a refreshing and cozy atmosphere on the balcony.

Apart from phosphorus, other elements must also be present in sufficient amounts, because while promoting flowering, it is also necessary to ensure the growth of the root system and the plant itself.
If you don't know how to mix fertilizers, you can also prepare a universal all-purpose fertilizer for promoting flower growth. It is convenient to use and has good effects.
It can be used before the flowering period and continue until the flowers bloom. Use it once every 10 days. You can dilute it with water and apply it directly to the soil surface of the pot, which is very convenient.
