| This product slows the vegetative growth of soybeans and peanuts. It is absorbed through the leaves and roots and transported throughout the plant, reducing the activity of gibberellins within the plant. This inhibits cell elongation, weakens the growth of the apical bud, and controls both vertical and lateral growth. As a result, internodes shorten, the plant becomes more compact, leaf color deepens to a rich green, leaf area decreases, and chlorophyll synthesis is enhanced, thereby preventing excessive vegetative growth. |
